Academic advising is one of the important aspects of an engineering degree, as it helps students to make informed decisions about their future and achieving their academic goals. Advising involves making students understand the degree requirements, major policies & procedures, course planning, assistance with registration issues, options when students are in academic difficulty and conducting degree audits. Furthermore, students can also discuss about their long-term education planning with their advisor.
