Dr. Sweta Mishra was a Researcher at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, USA from February 2018 to June 2019. Dr. Mishra completed her Doctorate in Philosophy in Cryptography as well as post-graduation in Computer Science with specialization in Information Security from IIIT Delhi. During her Ph.D., she was awarded the prestigious ‘TCS Research Fellowship’ for the entire period of her degree. Her work at NIST was to designing standard for password hashing schemes. Her research interest includes Theory and Practice of Cryptography, Password-based Cryptosystems and Biometric security.
